Jessy Razafimandimby received his Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from the Geneva University of Art & Design (HEAD) in 2018. His multidisciplinary production encompasses painting, drawing, installation and performance. He integrates references from pop culture, including 1960s and 1970s French cinema, fashion and vintage lifestyle magazines. Jessy Razafimandimby draws upon baroque imagery traversed by organic forms in which chimeric figures appear, producing simultaneously “dystopian and utopian” hallucinations.
